A law enforcement operation took place near Nancy Guthrie's home on Friday night as the search for her intensifies.

More than 12 vehicles, including SWAT, swarmed the area in an operation that lasted nearly four hours, according to CNN. Police reportedly questioned one man then released him after determining he was not the kidnapper. A law enforcement official told CNN "this particular lead is not going to go any further."

While police didn't find the kidnapper Friday, it did make progress in its search. Investigators found DNA at Guthrie's home that did not belong to her or anyone close to her, and now it's being tested.

Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today host Savannah Guthrie, has been missing for two weeks after an apparent abduction at her Catalina Foothills, Arizona home.

Police have not named any suspects at this point of the search. The FBI is seeking a man between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-10 with an average build and Ozark Trail hiker backpack, based on doorbell footage taken at Guthrie's home the night of her disappearance.
